ARC REVIEW: THE HITCH by BEATRICE KEANE

ARC REVIEW: THE HITCH BY BEATRICE KEANE

RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐, 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Melody

I can't get caught. Not after what happened in Chicago. I ran across the country to disappear, to fade into obscurity. And I'm doing a really good job of it—until someone starts following me. They leave little trinkets in my apartment, letting me know they were here. Watching me. Every step I take leads me closer to them when all I want to do is run away.

Dante
After my father's death, everything I've worked toward my whole life is finally within my grasp. Except for one teeny, tiny little in order to truly ascend the ranks, I need a wife. I need to produce an heir, the next generation of our organization. Imagine my shock when the perfect, murderous woman plops into my lap.

First off, I would like to thank Beatrice Keane for allowing me to get my hands on an advanced copy of The Hitch!  I was gifted a digital copy in return for an honest review.

The book was well written, plot engaging.  I will say the book started off a bit slow, so hang in there if you feel the same way.  It does pick up fairly quick.

The characters are complex, the story intriguing and will have you on the edge of your seat begging for more!

The book does end on a cliff hanger, which lets us anticipate another book!

If you are into Forced Proximity, Marriage contracts, Breeding Kinks, Open door spice, etc., Check this book out!!

BOOK REVIEW: HER DAY TO DIE BY SAGE RELLEANNE

Book Review: Her Day to Die by Sage RelleAnne
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Blurb:
My brother? He’s dead. My first love? Dead.
Accident or murder?

I am alone.
Until I’m not.

My first love left behind three brothers, and for some reason they won’t leave me alone. No matter where I go or what I do, there they are. Always watching in the shadows, waiting for something to happen, but what?

The oldest, Grayson, says he's trying to keep everyone safe. He's overbearing, controlling, demeaning. But even more so, lonely. I see myself in him, maybe we will be each other’s salvation? Or will I be his demise?

The middle, Axel, he got out of prison just in time to hear the news of his twin’s death. He is angry, domineering, and keeps pushing me to my limits and then past them. Especially in the middle of the night when I think I’m alone. To everyone else I’m Sunday, but to him? I am just a little lamb.

The youngest, oh sweet, kind, supportive, Darius. I don’t think I would have made it through my grief without him. But why is he the most dangerous of the three? He is crawling into my skin, worming his way into my heart, stamping himself into my very soul.

I try my best to steer clear of them, but in doing so I stumble across a dangerous trap.
It was laid especially for me, and if I’m not careful?
Well, it might just be my day to die.

Join Sunday as she navigates the waters of grief, the devastation of first love, and the possibility of a truth so painful she might just wish she could forget it all.
This is a why choose romance, Sunday will end up with multiple men. Check the TWs.

I read Her Day to Die in preparation for the ARC of Book Two in the series, Not Her Day to Die.

The book sparked my attention because it was marketed as having "Donnie Darko Vibes", one of my favorite movies!

I am very glad I picked up this book!

The Author did a very good job at building the characters and creating a great plot.  The story is very engaging and keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time.  The plot to spice ratio is perfectly balanced, not straying too far one way or the other.

All in all, this was a great read, and I recommend it to anyone who loves a good mystery as well as why choose romance!
